Owner Library · Free · Public

Guides and calculators for owners who'd rather book the call than buy another lead.

This is a free library for plumbing and HVAC shop owners. Every page answers one question you actually ask — where my calls go, what the night customer searches, how fast a callback has to be — with measured market data behind it, sources named, and dates on everything.

Written by Nef Lopez. No affiliate links, no gated tools, no posting schedule — pages ship when the evidence behind them is real.

How this library is written

The rules every page follows, so you know what you're reading before you read it:

Evidence first

Every number is either measured from public data — search volumes, click costs, Maps rankings — or clearly labeled an example. Each page states its observation window, its sample size, and what it does not cover.

Written by an operator, not a content mill

I'm Nef Lopez. I map plumbing and HVAC territories for a living and work with one shop per trade per territory. The library is what that mapping work teaches, published.

No affiliate links, ever

No commissions, no sponsored placements, no "best software" lists that pay for clicks. If a page ever earns money from a recommendation, the disclosure appears here first. The business is the partnership, not referrals.

We don't re-teach what Google already documents

Setting up a domain or claiming your Google Business Profile is documented better by Google than by me. Those pages link to the official sources. This library covers the decisions Google can't answer — what your market's data actually says.

Dated and revisited

Market numbers refresh monthly with the mapping cadence. Every page carries the date of the data it uses; when a page covers rules or software that change, it carries a review date too.

What's here today

The library starts where the measured demand is — the phone line. The phone-line series leads everything else:

1 · Missed-call recovery — where the demand goes

San Diego's after-hours search demand, why calls go missing in every small shop, and the repair that closes the gap. Read missed-call recovery.

2 · After-hours call capture — the night customer

Measured night demand across three metros, what Google's AI answers already tell homeowners, and the real options for answering. Read after-hours call capture.

3 · Callback speed — the first callback books the job

What a 22-shop scan showed about callback promises, and the standard that beats waiting. Read callback speed.

Calculator · Size your own missed-call math

Four numbers from your shop — no form, nothing sent anywhere — estimate the work ringing out. Run the missed-call calculator.

Territory Market Maps — the data underneath

The monthly public maps every library number is built on: who holds the top spots, where visibility concentrates, what changed. Explore the Market Maps.

Not here yet: reviews, pricing, and lead-tracking guides. They get built when the demand data says owners are searching for them — not on a posting schedule.

Questions owners ask me

Who writes this library?

I do — Nef Lopez. I run Radical Red Rocket, a Territory Growth Partner for plumbing and HVAC shops in San Diego County. The library is the public half of that work: the measured market data and the guides I wish every shop owner could read before spending money.

Is the library really free?

Yes. Every guide and calculator is public, and the calculators work without a form. The paid work at Radical Red Rocket is the Territory Partnership, and no page here is a pitch for it. Where working together is the honest next step, a page says so once.

Do you make money from recommendations?

No. This library has no affiliate links, no sponsored placements, and no commissions — ever. If that ever changes, the change will be disclosed on this page. The business is the partnership, not referrals.

Why won't you write beginner setup guides?

Because Google already documents them, and better. When a question is about setting up a domain or claiming a Google Business Profile, the library links to the official source instead of rewriting it. The pages here cover the decisions Google can't answer — what the market data says about your shop.

Where do the numbers come from?

Public Google results — search volumes, click costs, Maps rankings, reviews — collected monthly for the territories I map. Every page states its observation window and its sample size. The September 2026 baseline covers 165 South Bay plumbing shops. If a number is an example rather than a measurement, the page says so.

I'll map your territory and email your private Territory Scorecard — where you rank, who holds the slots above you, and where the openings are. Free. No call needed.

You send the request. I build the map. The report lands in your inbox.
