Territory Scorecard Review · HVAC + plumbing shops
Your Territory Scorecard shows me what I can see from outside your business. During the Review, we combine that evidence with what's actually happening inside your shop - so we can figure out where the biggest leverage may be.
Free. 30 minutes. A conversation, not a product.
Public evidence + your real numbers. The reports show us where to look. The Review helps us figure out what to fix.
30 minutes, free. We start from your Territory Scorecard - what I can see from outside - and test it against what's happening inside the shop. Don't have one yet? I run it before we talk.
Got it. Your Scorecard Review is one step away.
The goal of the Review is to combine what I can see from the outside with what you know from inside the shop, so we can figure out what deserves attention first. Pick a time below - it runs about 30 minutes on a call.

Walk-through
Most marketing conversations start by assuming the answer is more marketing. Here's the short version of why I don't start there - and what I need to see before I'd tell you to spend more.
The outside view
Three reports, built from public signals - checked the same way for every shop, no account access needed.
Where competition, visibility, and opportunity change across the territory - the public view of your market. See the published maps.
Where your shop stands: the map, your score out of 100 against the market median, and who holds the slots above you. See what's inside.
What your website is doing about it - the public customer path, read the way a homeowner in a hurry would. See what it checks.
That's useful - but it isn't enough. I can learn a surprising amount about a shop without ever talking to the owner. But I can't responsibly tell you what I'd fix first until I understand what happens after demand reaches your business.
The honest limit
A public report can name the open market, the weak website path, the thin review coverage. It cannot see your phone, your calendar, or your books. So it cannot say whether the opportunity it found is the one worth your next dollar.
That's the whole point of the Review: the outside view sets the questions. Your numbers answer them.
The inside view
A handful of numbers decide what happens after someone finds you. I can't see any of them from Google - and you don't need them perfect. Approximate is fine.
How much opportunity already comes in - calls, forms, referrals, repeat customers.
How quickly and consistently new leads get answered. Missed calls and after-hours rings count.
How many real opportunities become appointments on the calendar.
How many appointments become jobs - estimates, close rate, and what the average job is worth.
Whether the shop can actually take more booked work right now, or is already full.
What happens after the job: review asks, repeat service, and the customers you already have.
One picture
Market → Visibility → Reputation → Website. Public signals, checked the same way for every shop.
Response → Booking → Sales → Capacity → Retention. None of it is visible from Google.
The Scorecard Review
combines both views to figure out what deserves attention first.
Public evidence + your real numbers → the constraint
Why more leads isn't automatic
Say 10 opportunities come in this week and the shop books 2 of them. Buying more advertising mostly buys more opportunities through the same booking rate - and the same leaks. Illustrative example - not a client result.
Improve one stuck stage and the demand the shop already gets becomes worth more. Then more demand becomes worth buying. That's why the Review looks before anything gets spent.
The point
We need to figure out what deserves attention first. The Review looks for the constraint - the place where growth is actually stuck. It may be visibility in an important market. It may be the website. It may be missed calls, slow response, booking, close rate, pricing, capacity, or follow-up.
The biggest opportunity may be marketing. It may also be inside the business. The only way to know is to look at both.
And the constraint moves. Once one bottleneck improves, something else may become the next one. That's why the goal isn't a pile of marketing tactics - it's knowing where the next unit of growth is trapped.
How it runs
Your Territory Scorecard - with the Website Grader alongside - shows where the evidence says we should look. Don't have them yet? I run them before we talk. Free, no access needed.
We walk through the few numbers that decide what happens after someone finds you: how fast leads get answered, what books, what closes, what the average job is worth, and whether the shop has room. Approximate is fine.
We name the constraint - or the short list I'd investigate first - and what it's worth before any money goes out.
Sometimes the answer is push a market. Sometimes it's fix the missed calls first - more demand into a leak only creates more waste. Recommending no new spending until a measured problem is repaired is a valid outcome.
The Review identifies a measurable hypothesis. It does not guarantee that working on it creates revenue.
What this is not
A weak market on the Scorecard doesn't automatically mean we attack it. The evidence and your numbers decide.
A low Website Score doesn't automatically mean a new website. Some fixes are an afternoon.
If response, booking, or capacity is the constraint, more demand mostly makes the same problem bigger.
Every shop has weak spots. The Review points at the one or two worth real attention.
Diagnosis first. The right move depends on the actual constraint.
Who this is for
Probably worth doing if
May not be useful yet if
The Review itself stays free for every shop. These are the shops where it tends to change something.
After the Review
If we find something worth attacking and it looks like a good fit to work together, we can talk about a Territory Partnership: one measurable repair first, no setup fee, no monthly retainer, and compensation that follows the business you collect.
If not, you keep the clearer picture: where the business is constrained, and what deserves attention first. The reports stay yours either way.
The Review is a conversation, not a product. Nothing is due, and nothing is owed.
Yes. Thirty minutes, no card, no obligation. Reviews stay free for every shop. The Territory Partnership is the paid step, and only if both sides want it.
It helps, but no. If you don't have one, I run it before we talk so the Review starts with real findings instead of guesses.
Approximate is fine: how many leads come in, how fast you answer, what books, what closes, the average job, and whether you have room for more work. We read them together - you don't have to present anything.
It points at the constraint worth attention first - sometimes that's the market, sometimes it's inside the shop. The Review identifies a measurable hypothesis. It does not guarantee that working on it creates revenue.
Those reports read the outside: your market position and the public customer path. The Review adds what only you can see - what happens after someone contacts you. Territory Scorecard · Website Grader
No. It's a conversation, not a product. If a Territory Partnership makes sense, that conversation comes after the Review.
